Blockhütte am Trout River

Willkommen im Trout River Log Cabin, einem rustikalen, norwegisch gebauten Blockhaus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, das in die sanften Hügel von Northeast Iowa eingebettet ist, nur sieben Meilen von der Innenstadt von Decorah oder drei von TG Brewing entfernt. Die Hütte ist saisonal von April bis Oktober geöffnet. Unser Familienbetrieb mit seinen vielen Hektar an mehrjährigen Grasfeldern, Holz und dem sich schlängelnden Trout River ist absolut hinreißend. Und wenn du schon dabei bist, solltest du dir unsere andere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, das Decorah House, ansehen, das fünf Blocks von der Innenstadt von Decorah entfernt liegt.

Du kannst kommen und die Umgebung genießen, wenn du möchtest, aber du kannst auch einfach kommen und die ganze Zeit abseits der Außenwelt verbringen. Es ist ein ruhiger, friedlicher, entspannender Ort zum Entspannen. Diese Hütte liegt auf einer Klippe zwischen Prairie Du Chien und Ferryville, etwa 5 Minuten vom Fluss entfernt, bietet dir aber die Ruhe, in den Bäumen versteckt zu sein.

There is also a covered shelter with picnic tables and an extra bathroom and shower, all in the shelter . A secluded area - 1/4 mile private driveway. New in 2016.
