Entire house, renovated, cozy, custom built log home.  Walk only a few steps to the town of Buckhorn in the Kawartha Lakes. Walk to Lock 31, Beach, Pizza, restaurants, groceries, LCBO.  Situated on a huge wooded lot, steps from everything including historic Adam&Eve Rocks, Buckhorn Yacht Harbor, General Store, beach, dam, fishing.  Note: at this time we not able to provide sheets or bath towels. A propane BBQ, outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, brand new appliances.

The Bunkie of the Highlands

Family owned Bunkie on 36 acres. Experience the outdoors with Our family Bunkie. Able to sleep 2 adults and 4 children. We would call this experience like camping but in the cutest setting of a bunkie. Very private location. Bunkie has a wood burning stove for heating. Cook your meals on a bbq or gas stove (outdoors). Enjoy a nice evening fire with family or friends. It is a true off grid camping experience. solar panels/generator offer indoor lighting. Outhouse is a short path away.

This is a cozy, comfortable home in the woods, perfect for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature. Enjoy your time hiking or biking in the summer or snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter. The property boasts numerous well marked trails on 50 acres. There is a large deck at the top of a hill, perfect for star gazing. The area is great for golfing, and for exploring the nearby villages of Warkworth, Hastings, and Cambellford. If you need anything we are only a phone call away.
