Vor vielen Jahren wurde diese Scheune genutzt, um die Äpfel aus den Obstgärten des Bauernhofs zu Apfelwein zu pressen. Jetzt hat eine durchdachte und kreative Restaurierung sie zu einem ganz besonderen Ort für zwei Personen gemacht, der ruhig auf unserem familiengeführten Bio-Milchviehbetrieb liegt. Hoch über dem Culm Valley gelegen, bietet sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf unseren Bauernhof und die umliegende Landschaft und ist perfekt gelegen, um die schöne Nord- und Südküste, Dartmoor- und Exmoor-Nationalparks zu erkunden. Beech Cottage at Southlands Farm is a lovely self contained property set in 11 acres, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills. Situated adjacent to our farmhouse, across a pretty shared courtyard, the cottage is warm and comfortable. The bedrooms have views of the orchard and tennis court, which you are welcome to use, along with the table tennis in the courtyard. Southlands Farm is in a perfect spot: a rural location renowned for its outstanding natural beauty but close to charming seaside towns.

So, whether you want countryside walks to picturesque villages and ancient woods or a short drive to the beaches of the Jurassic coast, Exeter, Dartmoor or Exmoor, our cottage is the place to head out from – and the cosy home to return to!

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

It is a short walk from a shop, 2 pubs and a train station and is a great base from which to explore the many delights of Devon.
