Only 5 miles from the new North East 250 tourist route and Snow roads tourist route. Bothy means basic but read the reviews it's got charm. There are woodland walks direct from the bothy. DIRECTIONS TURN up the track that has a green sign for Strathdon Lodges about 500 metres to the east of the SPAR SHOP.

Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.
