At this peaceful and centrally-located suite tucked behind a 1930’s home up a little hill, you will be close to everything important. Walk 1/5 of a mile to Old Town, where you may visit The Port of Siuslaw, many well known restaurants, art galleries and shops. Hwy 101 is a couple blocks away where our famous Pono Hukilau Restaurant is located. Walk a wee bit further to Exploding Whale Park and enjoy sitting on the river’s beach for a picnic or take a short drive to Heceta Beach for the day.

The Crestview golf club is 1 minute away and there’s a playground and disc golf course within a 5 minute walk.

The Purple House

This cozy special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Just a short drive and you can be in Old Town Florence, at the casino, (2) golf courses and various beach selections. The Purple House is in a residential community so generally a quiet stay. The house stands out in a crowd and is easy to find. Off street, designated, parking!! (There is additional parking on the street if needed.) The apartment sleeps (4) but space is most comfortable for (2) guests.

The Love Shack by Heceta Beach

This adorable little 450 sq ft cottage is perfect for 1-2 guests and is just a short walk to spectacular Heceta Beach. Walk to Jerry's, a friendly local pub with a pool table, juke box, full bar, and darn good food! We love the Driftwood Shores little Market & Deli for a beverage or quick bite. With the ocean, lakes, river, sand dunes and lush environment there's good reason that Florence is called "Oregon's Coastal Playground!" Need a separate workspace? We've got that too.

Sunny Peaceful Ocean Cottage

At the end of the road, this comfortable home offers solitude and a charming hobbit path to beautiful Heceta Beach. It's a great place for family fun or a romantic get-away. Well stocked for cooking and kicking back. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are in an open loft (with an enclosed bathroom dividing the two spaces. NOTE: We still allow pets, but have had numerous problems with irresponsible dog owners. Well-behaved dogs and owners who take responsibility for their pets are welcome.

Scenic cabin with a creek view

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

Seal Pup is a tiny home one blk from the beach.

The Seal Pup is 160 sq ft cabin. Located one blk from the beach in a peaceful neighborhood. This cabin was designed for 1-2 people looking to explore the beautiful Oregon coast and have a comfy place to relax after their adventures. Seal Pup has a full size bed, kitchenette area, sitting area, bathroom with shower & composting tiolet(cleaned after every guest). Centrally located to the ocean, rivers, great restaurants, galleries & much more!

Heading to the coast for work or play? Book a stay in our ground floor getaway: Sunflower Seas! Queen bed, claw foot tub/shower, kitchenette, drop down desk/dining, wifi. On site parking. Kayaks available. Easy 4 block walk to Heceta Beach. Just two miles off Hwy 101, 5 miles to Old Town/Bay Street along the beautiful Siuslaw River. Lakes, hiking, light houses, covered bridges, waterfalls within an easy drive.

Rhododendron House

You’ll love waking up to the garden-like view of the beautiful rhododendron and the backdrop of evergreens. The open-plan studio is comfortable and complete with full kitchen, small dining area and bath with shower. King size bed and an available 4” foam mattress if needed for a child or third guest. Excellent WIFI, though there is a bug in the Airbnb platform preventing it showing under Amenities.
