Located in historic Uniontown-Alameda, guests are just minutes away from downtown Astoria, and a short drive to our many coastal attractions. The patio boasts one of the best views in town- the Astoria-Megler bridge and the mighty mouth of the Pacific Ocean. If the rain keeps you inside, the same view is available from every bedroom window.

Capt Johnson House; history with river views

Enter with your passcode and you'll be welcomed by the parlor’s 10-foot ceilings. Your river view, two-bedroom suite, shower/bath and laundry are up the stairs. This landmark home was built in 1875 and is named for Captain Eric Johnson, a Swedish immigrant and riverboat pilot. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, hot pot and coffee maker. Owner lives onsite per city code, though there are no shared spaces. Astoria Homestay Lodging: 21-03.

Tonquin's Rest is a beautiful private suite in the upstairs of a 1903 Victorian home in Astoria's tranquil Uppertown neighborhood. The home is located in walking distance to the Goonies House, Pier 39, the Astoria Riverwalk and hiking trails. It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach. This two-story suite includes a living area on the lower level and a sleeping area on the upper level, making it our only two-bedroom unit. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed dressed in luxurious linens. The main floor features a cozy living room with comfortable seating and a smart TV. The kitchenette and dining area are located near the entryway and adjacent to the living room. This room does not allow pets.

A newly remolded 1866 home with a beautiful river view located in the historic downtown Astoria. Just steps from the original settlement in the historic district, our house is within a few blocks of the Columbia River Maritime Museum, the Heritage Museum, the Ft. George and Reach Break breweries, the Bow Picker and the Riverwalk. This house features off street parking (a rare find in downtown) and a full upstairs suite.
