The Hobbit House

The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch that sleeps an extra guest, outdoor claw foot tub, shower, electric fireplace, and outhouse with composting toilet. The tiny cabin has a patio, picnic table and fire ring. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. FYI: Outdoor shower/tub is turned off in a freeze.

Happy Mountaintop Cottage w/ large firepit & deck

This small charming cottage is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Glendale Springs. It’s close enough to ‘do all the things,’ but you’ll feel totally secluded at The Happy Place. A fun mural waits for your selfies! Near Hiking, tubing, kayaking, and waterfalls. West Jefferson is within 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the large fire pit or play games at the picnic table (we have a drawer full!). Want to bring friends? They can reserve the other tiny house on the property! Ask me about it!

This rustic, secluded log cabin is located 3200 ft. above sea level on the side of Phoenix Mountain, just outside of West Jefferson. It boasts beautiful views of the mountains and is within a short walking distance to the New River. This cozy two bedroom, one bath cabin which sleeps up to four people, comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy the perfect getaway!

Cottage is situated overlooking gentle pastures and long range mountain views. A perfect front porch setting for those North Carolina Mountain sunsets offering a peaceful relaxing experience. The surrounding wildlife, forested area, hiking trails, and bold streams make this an adventurous getaway for the whole family. The Blue Ridge Parkway and New River are minutes away for fishing, biking and river fun. Boone, Jefferson, Appalachian State University are less then 12 miles near.

Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.

Come relax in this comfortable cabin on the New River! This is the perfect getaway for a long weekend away from the city or for a couple weeks enjoying the outdoors-hiking, biking, fishing, tubing, kayaking. Enjoy meals on the deck while watching and listening to the river, the fresh air, and all the cabin life has to offer. We are close to West Jefferson, Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285."
