Come and relax with a coffee by the fireplace on the frosty winter days or the outside firepit during warm summer nights. Ideal setting for family get togethers and nature enthusiasts. Guests have access to a separate portable washroom, by walking about 100ft to the back of the yard.

Broken Silo

Built in 1867, our attached carriage house has been renovated into a studio apartment. It has a private bath, complete kitchen, sitting area, in-floor heat, coffee and tea. We are located 7 kms south of Elora, 10 kms west of Fergus and 15 kms north of Guelph in the hamlet of Ponsonby. The apartment has a king size bed and a smart TV. No Pets or Smoking. Longer term rentals are available at discounted prices. We have honey bees, chickens, pigeons and a dog named Penny on the property.

Once used for machinery storage, a farm mechanics workshop, housing pigs, a farm store, and a farm office, now a retreat for guests to enjoy a quiet farm stay. Please know that we live & work on the farm. The Farm Shed has air-conditioning and a natural gas fireplace for heating, supplemented by an electric heater wall unit that makes it comfortable all year round.
