Welcome to the award winning Cupples Cottages! This 600sf flat was recently renovated and is beautifully furnished. When built in 1952 by my late grandfather these units were offered fully furnished providing temporary housing primarily to the construction workers living away from their families working on my grandfather's construction crew. Fast forward over 70 years and 2 generations and the property has been reimagined as Cupples Cottages Vacation & Vehicle Rentals, operating since 2017.

It's only 5 minutes away from downtown Anchorage allowing you to enjoy the city without having to hear the noise of it at night. We are also 2 blocks from the entrance to Elmendorf Air Force Base. Mountain views all around and if you're lucky you can see the northern lights. Short walk to Ship Creek for Salmon fishing. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Just a 20 min walk to downtown and a short walk to Bear Tooth Theatrepub, Spenard Roadhouse, Middle Way Café, Hearth Artisan Pizza, Kaladi Brothers Coffee, Grocery Stores, and Walgreen's. Washer/dryer free onsite. We provide handmade soap finely crafted right down the street by Denali Dreams Soap Company. Everything you need to have an enjoyable stay is provided for you.

We aim for you to feel as though you are visiting family. The spacious yard features a large swing set for kids and a sandbox. Pat will likely greet you and give you a verbal tour of Alaska. Fast Wi-Fi. Guests have been treated to moose and babies right outside the back door, ravens, Steller jays, squirrels, and rarely a bear. There are plenty of resources for you to plan your trip. Guests especially like being able to do laundry.
