Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

The Maples Guesthouse is designed for your comfort and relaxation. Whether you choose to enjoy the hot tub or sip a cup of freshly brewed Nespresso beside the backyard firepit, we hope this space leaves you feeling refreshed. Located in the heart of historic Adamstown, you are within walking distance of the local (seasonal) ice cream shop, antique mall and grocery store. You also have quick access to Rt. 222 and the turnpike and can experience the best of Lancaster and Reading under 30 min.

Beloved Chateau (with Hot Tub)
The Beloved Chateau is a guest suite in a character house in Adamstown. You will relax in a hot tub, enjoy a comfortable bed with a newly renovated, modern bathroom. The tv is a 55 inch TV with access to your personal streaming accounts. Whether you like to hike, shop for antiques in town, or enjoy a restful evening in, it is perfect for couples searching for a restful overnight stay. The room is fully independent from the rest of our house. It has a private entrance with NO shared space.

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.

This cozy little cabin is nestled under the tall trees in the Dutch Cousin Campground. Enjoy a relaxing evening around the firepit listening to all the sounds nature has to offer. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Gruber Homestead Settler's Cabin
The cabin is the original Settler's Cabin on the Gruber Homestead settled in 1737 by Henrich Gruber. The restoration combines the originality of the cabin with the modern amenities that make this a unique and comfortable getaway experience. Located on a rural property of 28 acres in Berks County, PA. Miniature donkeys and horses graze the pastures and add to the charm of the cabin. No pets allowed.

Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat. This Apartment is located at the base of Welsh Mountain in Lancaster County PA, minutes from Shady Maple. We are 15 minutes from the town of Intercourse & 23 minutes from Bird-in-hand. The apartment is the entire upstairs of an unattached garage. Beautiful view of Lancaster County Countryside.
