This well-appointed third floor Executive Suite offers you the finest in accommodations, upscale amenities and is named in honor of President Abraham Lincoln. Attorney David Wills who organized the November 19, 1863 dedication ceremonies of the Soldiers National Cemetery asked Lincoln to be his special guest as well as to say a few short words at the dedication. Lincoln arrived in Gettysburg the night before the dedication by special train and spent the evening at the Wills house putting the finishing touches on the Gettysburg Address. The next morning Lincoln would be escorted by a large procession down to the dedication site where 10 to 20 thousand people would listen to Edward Everett speak for two hours.Lincoln who followed Everett’s speech spoke for a little over two minutes. Just like the battle had changed the history of Gettysburg forever, so did those two short minutes.

It rises past apple orchards and open fields towards the wooded slope of Cashtown Gap in South Mountain.
