Punta Sal Balneario is a familiar beach who belongs to Canoas District.
It is not a fisher town, it is a Bay,
Private beach discovered in 1957 by the American of the International Petroleum Company.
Since that years we have the place of the property.
In recent years it has been populated, however it still maintains its beauty of calm beach, not crowded with some local restaurants like HUA with delicious seafood and pizza at night. Also is possible to buy fruit, vegetables in different little shops.

The beach is calm (not like noisy Mancora) in our neighborhood we are only locals who live there, and some hostels.
There are no big hotels, noise, horses, or beach sellers.
In front of our house we have a reef, splendid snorkeling, 20 meters walking to the right side there's a sandy beach.
We are just in the border between the open sea to swim and the reef to dive.!
Really a good place.
Local divers take out fish in front our property dayli.

El Caucho, Cerros de Amotape, we have a guide who pick up our guest to EL CAUCHO. This place is really fantastic, nearly virgin, visited especially by foreign Biologist and researches.
Marisol and Jose are owners of HUA restaurant, and long time residents of Punta Sal. They have a good variety of excelent dishes 5 minutes walking.
