Our house is about 2.8 km from the city center. It is a pleasant 30-40 minute walk, and by car, it takes about 5 minutes. Bus lines 2 and 4 to the city center run 1-2 times per hour. Bus line 8 goes directly to the city center and to Santa Claus Village.
You can rent a car at the airport (also in advance) and drive to our place in 15 minutes. You can park in the yard of the house.
There are several taxis, and the trip costs around 30 euros. You can also reserve a taxi beforehand. On the Visit Rovaniemi website, you can find taxi contact information and tips for local transport.
